Frequently asked questions

Does the count include both the start and end dates?+

It measures the gap between the two dates, so the start date itself isn’t counted as a full day — the difference between a Monday and the next Monday is 7 days, not 8. Add one if you need to count both endpoints inclusively.

Does it account for leap years?+

Yes. The calculation uses real calendar dates, so any 29 February that falls within the range is counted automatically.

What if the end date is before the start date?+

The result still shows the number of days between them, noting that the end date is earlier than the start date.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?+

No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
