Does this work with iPhone videos?+

Yes. iPhone clips are H.264 or HEVC inside a MOV container and both decode here. HEVC files take a little longer, since they are more work to decode.

My GIF came out sideways — why?+

Phone videos store a rotation flag rather than rotating the actual pixels, and some clips carry an unexpected one. Rotating the source before converting is the reliable fix.

How do I keep the file small?+

Trim the clip first — length matters more than anything else. After that, lower the frame rate to 10 fps and the width to 480px or less.

Is my video uploaded anywhere?+

No. The engine downloads once, but your clip is read and encoded entirely inside your browser tab.
