Frequently asked questions

What sizes are in the .ico?+

The favicon.ico contains 16×16, 32×32 and 48×48 images — the sizes browsers and Windows use most. For a full favicon set, try PNG to ICO.

My SVG isn’t square — what happens?+

Icons are square, so the artwork is scaled to fit each square size. For best results, start from a square SVG (a square viewBox).

Are my files uploaded?+

No. Rasterizing and packing happen entirely in your browser on your device — your SVG is never uploaded.
