Frequently asked questions

How is the sale price calculated?+

The discount percentage is taken off the original price: sale price = original × (1 − discount ÷ 100). The amount saved is simply the original price minus that sale price.

Does this include sales tax?+

No — it works purely from the price and discount you enter. Any tax is applied separately at checkout, so add it afterwards if you need the final out-the-door figure.

Can I stack two discounts?+

Not directly in one field, but you can run the final price from one discount through the calculator again as the new "original price" for a second discount.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?+

No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server.
