QR Code Generator
Runs in your browser — your data is never uploaded.
Turn any text or URL into a scannable QR code and download it as a crisp PNG. Unlike most QR sites, OkConverter generates the code entirely in your browser — your link is never sent to a server, never logged, and can’t be silently swapped for a redirect. Choose your image size and you’re done.

Frequently asked questions
Is my URL or text sent to a server?+
No — and for QR codes that’s worth caring about. Many free QR sites route your link through their own redirect so they can track scans (and keep working only while they exist). OkConverter encodes your exact text directly into the image, locally.
Do these QR codes expire?+
Never. The data is encoded directly in the image itself — there is no shortener or third-party service involved, so the code works as long as whatever it points to exists.
How much data fits in a QR code?+
This tool accepts up to 2000 characters, which stays scannable at medium error correction. Shorter is better in practice — dense codes need bigger prints and better cameras to scan reliably.
What size should I download?+
512px is fine for screens and small print. Use 1024px if the code will be printed large (posters, signage) — you can also scale the PNG down without losing scannability.
Can I generate Wi-Fi or contact-card QR codes?+
Yes — paste the standard payload text. Wi-Fi: WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:password;; — vCard: a full BEGIN:VCARD…END:VCARD block. Scanners recognize these formats automatically.
