Frequently asked questions
Why does pasted text sometimes have a line break after every line?+
PDFs, spreadsheets and some emails hard-wrap text at a fixed width, inserting a real line break at each wrap point instead of letting text reflow — this tool removes those breaks so paragraphs read normally again.
Can I keep paragraph breaks while removing line wraps?+
Yes. Turn on “Preserve paragraph breaks” and only single line breaks within a paragraph are removed; blank lines between paragraphs are kept.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?+
No. The whole operation runs in your browser using JavaScript — nothing is sent to a server.
