Reversing is unusually demanding: unlike every other operation here it cannot be streamed, because the last frame has to be written first and so the whole clip must be decoded into memory before anything can be produced. That puts a much tighter size limit on this tool than the others, and it is a property of the operation rather than a restriction imposed here.

Why is the file size limit so much smaller here?+
Because reversing cannot be done a frame at a time. The output starts with the input’s final frame, so every frame has to be decoded and held before the first one can be written. A minute of 1080p is several gigabytes uncompressed, which is why the cap is where it is.
Is the audio reversed too?+
Yes, both streams are reversed together so they stay aligned. If you want reversed picture over forward audio, reverse here and then replace the audio in a video editor.
My video will not reverse.+
Almost always length. Trim it to the section you actually want reversed first — a few seconds is usually all a reversed clip needs anyway.
